Word Finder & Scrabble Cheat
A word finder should function exactly as it says on the tin: It should find a word for you. Whether you’re stuck on Scrabble or you desperately want to win this round of Words With Friends, your chosen word finder tool should be fast and simple to use.
All you have to do is type your letters into the search bar. Our tool will do the rest.
How to Use Our Aptly-Named Word Finder Tool
Our tool functions as a word unscrambler (or an anagram solver, if that’s what you know it as), searching our various word game dictionaries (e.g., Words With Friends, Wordscapes, Word Chums, Scrabble, and more) to come up with word lists sorted alphabetically and by length for you.
Yeah, that’s right. We just spit out winning words in organized lists for you to beat whatever mobile app or board game you’re trying to claim victory over. Neat, huh?
Make Winning Words With Your Letters
Give us your letters, and we’ll tell you how to make words with them. How, you ask? Let us explain:
See that big search field at the top of the page? Hard to miss it. Enter your letters there — as many as 20 characters at a time. Don’t forget your wildcards, which you can indicate with a space or a question mark (?). (You’ll see these as blue letters on the unscrambled words result page.)
Wait! Before you hit that search button, be sure to double-check your Game Dictionary. Some words may be valid in some games, but not others. Plus, the scoring system varies between games. (You want to make sure your winning word pays off, after all.)
Once you’re ready to find a word, press that search button. Our word solver will take you to a page with all the words with these letters and blanks. Yep, it’s that simple.
Advanced Features for Advanced Players
Need to be a little more specific? Our word solver tool also offers four main options for advanced searches: your starting letter, your last letter, the length of your word, and words that contain certain letters. You can use all of these options in any combination you so choose, with the same 20-character limit for each section.
Think Less Scrabble Cheat, More Scrabble Helper
Scrabble was invented in 1933 and is played in more than 30 languages across approximately 150 million game sets. Roughly one-third of American homes are on a scrabble board, while NASPA (the North American Scrabble Players Association) reports having about 2,000 – 2,500 members who compete in national and international Scrabble tournaments every year.
Considering how big Scrabble is, a Scrabble helper can give you a leg-up in a game against just about anyone. Be it your family, your friends, your coworkers — even the eight-year-old kid you babysit, because you’ve decided there’s no real benefit to letting them win.
Our word finder tool helps you uncover your best options by finding a winning word or even clearing your tiles entirely. But the next best move is entirely up to you. Think of it as chess, but with letter tiles and without a hit Netflix original series.
Our Scrabble solver provides the words you can play. Then, you decide which words you should play.
A Scrabble Dictionary, You Say?
Did you know that Scrabble dictionary words aren’t necessarily the same as the words you find in Words With Friends? There are even differences between the Scrabble US and Scrabble UK dictionaries, too.
That’s another big benefit of our Scrabble cheat tool — the ability to check both for the validity of the word and the number of points it’ll score. Since the letter tile values are different in Scrabble and Words With Friends, you want to make sure you’re making the most out of every word you find.
Take the word “wordfinder,” for example.
Curiously, “wordfinder” is perfectly playable — and good for 19 points — in Words With Friends. However, it’s not a valid word in the Scrabble US or Scrabble UK dictionaries! The best Scrabble word with those letters is “frownier” for 14 points. Using the right word finder cheat with the letters you have gives you the best chance at winning.
A Wordle Wonderland
So why use WordFinder over other word finder cheat tools and sites out in the world wide web? We think Wordle #573 explains it best: We err, we forgive, we are human. Why does this benefit you? As a human-run site, we’re constantly keeping our solver tools up-to-date with the release of the latest word games you may need some help with.
Take Wordle, for example.
Wordle took the world by storm in early 2022, and despite what you may think, it’s still going strong. The daily word game that challenged players from all around the world to guess a five-letter word caught our attention almost immediately, and prompted not only the creation of our Wordle solver but also our Wordle hints page and a list of all past Wordle answers (including today’s).
Even the best starting words to help you claim a daily Wordle victory can’t elude you for long — not with us at your side. The word game community is tight-knit, and we do our best to offer help and solver tools in a timely manner.
So whatever the next Wordle may end up being — whatever new word game is up for the challenge, that is — one thing’s for sure: We’re on top of it.
Word Lists for the Players on the Offensive
If our word finder tool isn’t something you need right at this very moment, WordFinder also offers word lists full of power plays to take your word game skills to the next level. That’s right: These carefully-curated word lists can help you find winning words and prepare for the challenges ahead. You’ll always have just the right word to play at the just the right moment.
When a word ending in “Q” seems an impossibility, we have a list for it. When a word starting with “Z” feels like a challenge, we have a list for it. When playable two-letter words in Scrabble seem like a myth, we have a list for it. Words beginning, ending, or containing any other letter: We have a word list for it.
Our word lists are a comprehensive solution to finding words you can (and maybe even should) play in Scrabble, Wordle, Words With Friends, and all the other word games that take up your free time.
Words that start with: Have the perfect starting letter, but lack the winning word? Just input your letter, and WordFinder will generate a word list to help aid in your victory.
Words containing these letters: But what if your victory relies on more than one letter? No sweat. Input all your letters, and we’ll generate a word list.
Words ending in: Endings are hard, but not for you. If you have the last letter of a word, but not the word itself, we’ll find it for you.
Words by length: How long can you go? If your next points rely on a word of a certain length, just input your letters and the length you’re looking for. Word list? Generated.
5 letter words: Maybe you don’t want the Wordle answer outright today. Maybe you just want options. Our list of five-letter words is perfect for this. For example, if today's Wordle answer was RAPID, our 5 letter words that start with r and end with d word list would help you solve it in no time.
Q words without U: Attempting to find a word with “Q” that doesn’t include “U” can feel tricky, right? Luckily, we’ve got a list of 90+ words of this nature so you can stop racking your brain and start racking up points.
No matter how difficult it looks, how impossible it might feel —if a word exists, we’ve got it in our word lists for you.
