Play Wordscapes Online on Facebook
In the not-too-distant past, Facebook games were all the rage. People couldn’t get enough of Farmville. As mobile games got better and better, and as smartphones got progressively more powerful with bigger screens, more people started playing more games on their mobile devices instead.
And while some Facebook games have subsequently come and gone, you can still play Wordscapes online on Facebook! It’s just as easy and convenient as ever, especially since you likely already have a Facebook account.
Ensure that your computer is connected to the Internet.
Open up your web browser of choice.
Go to Facebook.com and log into your account.
Navigate to the official Wordscapes game Facebook page.
You don’t need to “like” or “follow” the page in order to play.
Click on the blue “Play Game” button just below the cover image, next to the “Send Message” button.
This will open a new browser window or tab with the Facebook game.
Wordscapes will request permission to view “your name and profile picture, friends list and email address.”
You can click on the “Edit this” link to deny access to your friends list and email address, but access to your name and profile picture is required to play.
Click on the blue “Continue as [Your Name]” button.
Play Wordscapes online with no download needed!

Run ApkOnline Android Emulator
While turning to Facebook is the easiest and most straightforward way to play Wordscapes online, another option is to run an in-browser Android emulator like ApkOnline. The website allows you to run any supported Android app through a virtual device. In this case, it simulates a tablet running Android 8.0 Oreo.
Open your web browser.
Navigate to the ApkOnline page for Wordscapes.
Read the fine print on how to use their online Android emulator.
Click the blue “Start” button.
Wait for the Android emulator to start and load the Wordscapes app. This can take up to about 40 seconds.
Click on the “rotate clockwise” button on the right. The game is designed to run vertically, but the emulator defaults to a horizontal orientation.
Play Wordscapes with your mouse or touchscreen.
Note that if you are inactive for more than 60 seconds, your session will end so that someone else can use the site’s resources. Also, while this Android emulator technically works, it tends to be very slow with choppy animations and an interface that’s not very responsive. You also cannot save your progress, so you will always start at level 1.
Play on BestGames.com
The good news is that you can play games on this website for free with no download. The bad news is that you can’t technically play Wordscapes online at BestGames.com.
While the page where you play specifically says “Wordscapes” everywhere, the actual HTML5 browser app appears to be Crossword Connect by Crazy Games, an apparent clone of Wordscapes by PeopleFun. Everything is very similar, including brilliance, coins and power-ups, as well as the general layout and gameplay. It’s just not technically Wordscapes.
To play:
Click on the “Click to Play Now” button on the game page linked above.
Wait for the ad to complete (or click on “skip ad” when available).
The game will load automatically.
You can also choose to play full screen by clicking on the corresponding icon near the top-right corner of the app.
